Who inspired you to be a scientist?

Inspire the next generation by partnering with a middle or high school science teacher this school year. Assist a teacher by answering questions from students, planning instructional demonstrations, or assisting students as they conduct a lab. ACS will donate $500 to the school where you volunteer so that you and your partner teacher can purchase science supplies to support your projects. Find out more at www.acs.org/ScienceCoaches. Contact ACS staff at ScienceCoaches@acs.org with questions and to enroll in the program. Participation is limited to 75 coach-teacher teams this year and enrollment ends on Monday October 31st, 2011.

Three science teachers in our area would like to partner with a scientist. Please contact the teacher directly if you are interested.

1. Bill Clayton
Mohonasen High School, 2072 Curry Road

2. Nicole Williams
Bolton Central School

3. Dr. Madhavi Sahay
Maimonides Hebrew day school, Albany, NY
